Woah... its been a long time since my last blog...
belated Merry Christmas ^^, and advance Happy New Year...
did you have some fun on Christmas Eve? if you'll ask me the same question...
i had so much fun because of my cousin. Actually, when Christmas Eve is fast approaching i cant feel that it's coming in our house no one cares at all which makes me upset because i do really love Christmas, the fireworks, the food, the gifts, specially our Savior Jesus Christ is born... In our house no one cares at all, except for me and my cousin,we're together since birth, he was abandon by his mom and was taken care of my mom because his father is a seaman so no other can take care of him. We are very close yet always arguing about somethings... Anyway... December 24, i bought piccolo (one of the mini fireworks) just 1 box, because my mom and granda will kill me if i bought so many :D.. When Christmas Eve has approached,to have fun, there's 1 group of teenager who are very drunk near at our garden gate. There was one who is going to urinate in our garden gate, so we throw him a piece of piccolo which make him jump (hahaha)... In order to get rid of them, we throw many piccolo at them( hahaha)... That's how I celebrated my Christmas Eve (hehehe)...

Assignments :D
Yesterday November 25, 2009 Wednesday 4:30-6:00 pm is our class in English 2, the first thing we do was to check our assignment which is the locating the main topic and the controlling idea in the topic sentence, and to locate the topic sentence in a paragraph. It was quite a brainstorming assignment which is fun, we checked it and sadly i only got 17/25 :P wahehehe!!!
after checking the assignment, she discussed about our Outline which is our activity last friday, she read the outlines randomly and commented on it, I was kind of nervous because i don't know what i am saying on my outline, im not that confident that it's ok(which is not really ok). After reading out loud the randomly picked outline papers, our prof. told us that on friday we dont have a class because its a holiday (which makes me really happy) but unfortunately she gave us tons of assignment (which is kind of ok, so that i have something to do) she dismissed us after reminding us again about the blogsite.

Written or Oral?
I agree with written language if it's in english. For my own opinion, writing is much more easier than talking because we filipino are not quite using the english language in our daily lives... In writing, you have the time to think on what are you going to say not unlike in oral language, you do not have the time to think on your next sentence or word, you should speak fluently so that your listener can understand you well... Well, writing can be so tiring but you can well explain what you want to say because you have studied what you have written, you have corrected the wrong grammars, you can pause to think on what you want to talk like what i am doing now...

The Start of English 2 Class :)
My point of view about english, is a very broad subject in which way it's very interesting. When I was in highschool i hate english, because it's so hard to speak but now when i enter college i'm starting to love and take it as a challenge. My first semester, i have taken up English 1 and 3 already which is one of my favorite subject, in second semester when i saw my C.O.R (Certificate of Registration) there's an english 2 "Writing in the Discipline" i find it boring from the word "writing" i hate to write but i love to type :D.
Novemeber 11, 2009 Wednesday that was our first meeting. I am with my 3 closest friend and 2 blockmates last sem, i wasn't that nervous because i am with my friends and i was hoping that our english 2 prof. will be our english 1 prof. last sem, she told us that there is a 50% chance that she will be our english 2 prof. before our class start i saw my english 1 prof. passed by and stand at the door, i shouted "oh my God! yes!!! hi ma'ammmmmm" with a very big smile. Unfortunately, that big smile disappear knowing that she was just dropping by and say hi to us, that's the start when i got nervous i said to myself "oh God who is our prof. this sem will she/he be good, understanding, and has sense of humour ?". Later on, our professor came in and woah... she looks strict but smart. She's wearing yellow and eyeglasses ( I like teacher who's wearing eyeglasses because they will look very very smart). She started her class by asking our C.O.R , I look my C.O.R. in my notebook but it wasn't there unfortunately, i forgot it in my other notebook that I forgot to carry it. I was scared because I thought she will get mad at me for not bringing my C.O.R. but I was mistaken she was not what i was expected. What she did is just checked my attendance. Then she started her class and telling us that we will be having our blog site. I wasn't familiar about blogging because I just know how to post in forums. She told us to check our blog site every now and then to check if we have our assignment. She reminded us her rule that we are not allowed to speak vernacular (Bisaya) or you will be punished by singing or dancing in front of the class which is good for me because I am not shy to sing and dance infront of many people, and she will not talk to you or replying from your question if you are not speaking in English. After awhile, She gave us an assignment and dismiss us. I was asking myself if did she introduce herself to us? I was so confused and asked my classmates if she did, but they told me she did not introduce herself.
The next meeting, Friday the 13th we passed our assignement, she grouped us based on our assignment. My topic was "Teenage Love", I was grouped to "Early Moms" and "Homosexual " topic, and we decided that our topic will be Homosexual for me it was too complicated but we just agreed on it. After the grouping, she told us to make a thesis statement and main topics about our decided topic, after that she dismissed us and gave us a group assignment. The 3rd meeting our teacher was absent because she encounter an accident. The 4th meeting, we presented our assignment which is giving the main topics a sub topic after presenting our assignment by groups she told us to make an outline about our topic individually, and she gave us an assignment which is in our book and reminded us about the blogsite and the grading system.
